15 months and not slowing down

Kids Museum at The Nature and Science Center in Fair Park

We spent a few nights with Papa and Kiki (new name we are trying out for Karen - so far Max likes it). We went over to the kids museum in Dallas to play around. I have so many memories of this place as a kid, so it was really special to see Max play here as well. There was a play table that had all kinds of vehicles to play with. Max spent a ton of time there playing with them. We managed to pry him from the table and check out all the other activities. He had so much fun there. I know we will be back there soon again!

Witnessed Baby Reed be baptized

We picked a great weekend to visit everyone in Dallas. Alysia, Mario and their boys came into town as well to have Jace baptize Baby Reed. I am so glad we were able to be there for the special occasion as well as to see everyone. I cherish these moments when so many of my loved ones can be together in the same place. The group shots with the boys crack me up because it is too hard to get them to be still for the picture.

Visit to Dallas - July 14 - 19

We had a great time visiting everyone in July. This was the first trip that Max was able to play with other kids and be totally content for hours at a time. I was able to sit back and relax :).

4th of July in Bellevue

We took Max to Bellevue for the 4th. They have a great show, and we love staying at the Westin hotel which is in the heart of downtown Bellevue. It doesn't get completely dark until after 10 pm here in the Pacific Northwest, so Max was up late and cranky before the show even began. We watched them on the 4th floor balcony of the hotel, but we moved into our room to watch the rest of it. We had a great view from our hotel room and the sound was muted which was good for Max. We could see 10 shows from our room, mostly amateur ones though. Clear skies though which was a blessing.

Meet Max and Max

Max made a friend in his swim class, and we have been hanging out together. The boys like to go to the kids museum in Tacoma. These are pictures from the first trip. My Max started off a little reserved but now he is really outgoing there. Both Max's run wild now like they own the place.

Oops, I haven't been posting

I know, I know... I haven't posted in a while. I thought no one was reading this but I found out recently that that wasn't true. So I am back posting about my favorite little guy. Thanks to those who are still keeping up with us. We have had a great summer, and I will catch you all up on what has been going on.
