Max's Baptism

Max's baptism was so special. We had Pastor Jace baptize Max. Jace is an old friend of mine. I have known him since I was 5 so this occasion was extremely special for me. Max was pretty warm in his gown which made him fussy, but the ceremony was still beautiful. Thanks to friends and family that attended. And thanks to Max's Godparents, Andy and Deanna for taking on the role as sponsors. Together, we will raise Max in the Christian faith.

MAXAPALOOZA!

Max made his first trip to Seattle. On the way to Seattle, we sat in first class. The extra room made it a more comfortable experience. Max did well on both flights which was such a relief since I was alone with him. Max met a bunch of family and friends while we were there. Thanks to all that came by the house and to the restaurants to see our little man. The above pictures show items that Matt had and wore when he was a baby. Max really liked that rattle. He was really drawn to it. So cute! It was a whirlwind but totally worth it. It was also the hottest days of the year in Seattle. Max and I being Texans didn't do too well without air conditioning. But we got through it because of all the excitement of the weekend.

Max is 3 months old!

I can't believe Max is already 3 months old. He smiles more. We have a problem with his nails. They are so sharp! He constantly scratches his face. I try to keep them cut but they are hard to keep up with. They grow so fast!
